The Dallas Museum of Art offers groups of ten or more a variety of ways to enjoy the Museum. Whether you have an hour to spend in the collections, want to experience a special exhibition, or have time to spend the entire day including lunch and a guided tour, the Museum can help create a memorable experience. If you are planning an event for a group of ten or up to 1,500 people, our Group Sales and Special Events teams can help you with the details. Choose from tours of the Museum, elaborate private functions, and quick meals on the go, or tailor a package specifically for your group.
Visitor guides are great tools to orient your group to what the Museum has to offer. Exhibition guides, collections brochures, and visitor guides are available for your group. Request brochures for your group in bulk.
Through a docent-guided or self-guided visit, pre-school, K-12, and higher education students can explore the Museum’s collections and special exhibitions. For additional information or to schedule your school group, visit our Student Visits page.
Groups can enjoy priority access to special exhibitions when they pre-arrange their visit to the Museum. For a list of current and upcoming exhibitions, visit Current Exhibitions.
A one-hour tour led by a Museum docent is a wonderful way to enhance your group’s visit. Docent–guided tours must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. There is a $5 docent fee per person for all docent-guided tours.
