Susan Barnett is a graduate of cognitive and clinical psychology from Harvard University and The New School for Social Research, where she received a bachelor of art degree and a master's in psychology. After a career working in the not-for-profit sector, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from SMU in May 2008. Barnett’s art returns to her interest in perception, using pattern to explore how we make sense of the world at the intersection of thought and perception.
