Go van Gogh brings the Dallas Museum of Art to Kindergarten through 6th grade students in schools throughout North Texas.
Trained volunteers lead experiences that encourage students to look closely at works of art, ask and answer questions, and make personal connections. All programs include hands-on activities that provide opportunities for individual creative expression. Teachers may request one-hour or ninety-minute programs on a variety of program topics. Each participating student receives information about the Dallas Museum of Art's educational programming for the student’s family.
Satellite and site-specific outreach programs bring Go van Gogh to schools and school districts outside Dallas city limits. For these programs, the district or school provides the volunteers and supplies for the art activities.
Go van Gogh visits Dallas Public Libraries, recreation centers, and Boys & Girls Clubs during summer months with free programming for children ages 5-12.
