1926–1929 Rhodes Baker served as President of the Dallas Art Association and Acting Director
1929 Arthur Kramer, served as President of the Dallas Art Association and Acting Director (continued as President until 1941)
1929–1934 John S. Ankeney became the Museum's first professional director.
