Isa Genzken: Retrospective is the first comprehensive retrospective of this artist’s epically diverse body of work in an American museum, and the largest to date. Genzken is arguably one of the most important and influential artists of the past thirty years. The exhibition encompasses her work in all mediums over the past forty years and includes nearly two hundred works, many of which will be on view in the United States for the first time.

Contemporary artist and actor-filmmaker Steve Brudniak, known for his highly crafted assemblage sculptures, talks about the art of assemblage, his own work, its correlation to the work of Isa Genzken, and the recent dialog concerning beauty and craft in the contemporary art arena.
