Group Visits
The Dallas Museum of Art offers groups of ten or more a variety of ways to enjoy the Museum. Whether you have an hour to spend in the collections, want to experience a special exhibition, or have time to spend the entire day including lunch and a guided tour, the Museum can help create a memorable experience. If you are planning an event for a group of ten or up to 1,500 people, our Group Sales and Special Events teams can help you with the details. Choose from tours of the Museum, elaborate private functions, and quick meals on the go, or tailor a package specifically for your group. Group rates start at $14 per person for special exhibition admission passes and require a ten-person minimum.

Special Exhibitions
Groups can enjoy priority access to special exhibitions when they pre-arrange their visit to the Museum. Most special exhibitions are included in general admission. Some exhibitions do carry a special ticket price that also includes general admission.

Collections Tours
A one-hour tour led by a Museum docent is a wonderful way to enhance your group’s visit. Docent–guided tours must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. Groups must pay a docent fee of $5 per person for all docent-guided tours. One docent is required for every twenty visitors in your group.

The Center for Creative Connections
The Museum is proud to invite visitors of all ages to experience the Center for Creative Connections. Groups of ten or more can start their Museum experience with a guided exploration of the current exhibition inside the Center, or simply take a few minutes to create their own work of art and begin to immerse themselves in the creative process.

VIP Tours
Exclusive or other customized tours may be arranged on an individual basis. Please contact groupsales@DMA.org to inquire about a special tour for your VIP group.
Food Packages
The Museum can host groups for a casual lunch in the DMA Cafe or set up a private lunch or meeting in Seventeen Seventeen, one of the Museum’s event spaces. We are happy to help you find an affordable lunch package for your group. Please make arrangements for lunch with our Group Sales team when you book your tour.
Daytime Meetings and Gatherings
The Museum is a unique and exciting place to host a business meeting or training workshop. Groups can reserve a meeting space during Museum hours and augment their experience with tours of the collections and the Center for Creative Connections.
