Art in Bloom 2013: Chagall Bouquets of Love

Monday, March 25, 2013
Benefiting the Dallas Museum of Art

Hosted by Chairman Renée Querbes Farren and
Honorary Chairmen Harriett Gibbs and Diane Sealy

As the very special guest and speaker this year, the League presents Bella Meyer, Marc Chagall’s beloved granddaughter. Ms. Meyer, owner of FleursBELLA Beautifiers in New York City, is an event and floral designer and, like her grandfather, she is a talented artist.

The special Floral Symposium will be followed by a luscious lunch in the Atrium. You will not want to miss the silent auction of floral arrangements inspired by the art of Chagall and interpreted by top Dallas designers. Festivities will also include a fabulous live auction and a fashion presentation by Allie-Coosh.

About the Art in Bloom Luncheon and Symposium

Each spring, the League hosts a Floral Symposium and Luncheon that includes a lecture by a floral design expert, a sophisticated lunch, entertainment, and opportunities to bid for the floral designer's signature arrangements. Art in Bloom provides generous support for the League’s Floral Endowment and the Museum’s exhibitions and educational programs.

Past Art in Bloom symposia have featured internationally recognized floral designers such as Howard Eckhart and Mami Ogata, Judith Blacklock, Bunny Williams, Christian Tortu, Rene Van Rehms, Jeffrey Leatham, and, in 2011, Jane Godshalk.
