Neil Gaiman

Monday, June 24, 7:00 p.m.
Majestic Theater
1925 Elm Street, Suite 500
Dallas, Texas 75201
Neil Gaiman has become one of the world's most beloved storytellers; his work crosses genres and reaches audiences of all ages. He is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of numerous award-winning books, including American Gods, Coraline, Anansi Boys, and The Graveyard Book, for which he won a Newbery Medal.

Gaiman has also been credited as one of the creators of modern comics, and is the writer of the cult DC comics series Sandman. The Los Angeles Times called Sandman "the greatest epic in the history of comic books."

At this event, he will discuss his body of work, as well as his new novel, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, his first adult novel in eight years. Wondrous and imaginative, and at times deeply scary, The Ocean at the End of the Lane captures the very essence of childhood fear and uncertainty. A clash of memory and reality, it is a pitched fever dream of a novel, and could very well be Gaiman's most accomplished work to date.

Gaiman has announced that this will be his final U.S. tour, so don't miss this rare opportunity to hear him speak!

"Poignant and heartbreaking, eloquent and frightening, impeccably rendered, it's a fable that reminds us how our lives are shaped by childhood experiences, what we gain from them and the price we pay." —Kirkus Reviews on The Ocean at the End of the Lane (starred review)
