Schedule Your K-12 ProgramFees REQUEST YOUR PROGRAM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!We are experiencing technical difficulties with our Online Request Forms. Please fill out the printable PDF version of the Museum Visit Request Form and return the form to us either by mail or by fax (214-272-4811). Student group visits cannot be scheduled by e-mail or by phone. On August 1, 2011, we began accepting requests for the 2011-2012 school year; availability is limited, and openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Fall is our busiest time of year, and it may take up to ten business days to confirm your visit. STEP 1 Check testing dates, holidays, and bus availability before requesting your visit. STEP 2 Submit the 2011-2012 Museum Visit Request Form at least three weeks before your earliest requested visit date. (For docent-guided visits, we recommend requesting at least six weeks in advance.) Request forms can be submitted online or by mail; student group visits cannot be scheduled by e-mail or phone. STEP 3 You will receive e-mail confirmation of your scheduled date and time within approximately ten business days of submitting a request form. If none of your requested dates are available, you will be contacted by e-mail or phone. STEP 4 Prepare students and chaperones for their visit. You will receive detailed information on Museum guidelines, parking, entrance location, lunch at the Museum, and online teaching resources approximately one month prior to your visit. Fees Museum visits are free of charge for students and chaperones when scheduled at least three weeks in advance. With less than three weeks’ notice, the following admission prices apply: adults $10, students with a school ID $5, and children under 12 free. Chaperones One adult chaperone is required for every fifteen students on docent-guided visits. One adult chaperone is required for every ten students on self-guided visits. Student groups bringing sack lunches can reserve the Sculpture Garden (please indicate on your request form). The Sculpture Garden is outdoors and the Museum has no indoor eating facilities for students in the case of inclement weather. Teachers are responsible for making alternate arrangements on cold or rainy days. Lunch in the Atrium Cafe The Atrium Cafe can accommodate groups of up to sixty people. Reservations are required for groups of fifteen or more. Call 214-922-1382 or e-mail atriumcafe@DallasMuseumofArt.org for menu options, pricing, and reservations. Student groups are not allowed to bring sack lunches into the Atrium.
