Art of Looking

The Art of Looking is a teacher-led curricular program that integrates instruction in the classroom with instruction in the unique learning environment of the Museum. This program includes an interactive multimedia computer program, five thematic integrated curriculum units, student activity journals, and specialized teacher training.

Curriculum units include African Traditions, 20th- and 21st-Century Life and Culture, Colonial Life in America, Ancient American Life and Culture, and American Landscapes. Teachers select one unit to implement during Museum visits and classroom sessions.
