One of the largest museum fundraising events in the nation, The Art Ball 2008 will be held on the evening of Saturday, April 26—returning this year to its traditional date at the close of April. Presented by Sewell Automotive Companies and co-chaired by the superb mother and daughter team of Peggy and Jacquelin Sewell, the theme of this year’s event is “Land Over Sea,” to connect with the dramatic and striking J. M. W. Turner exhibition. “This year’s Ball will celebrate the beauty that surrounds us,” said Todd Fiscus, Designer and Creative Director, “and through its exquisite design both tastefully echo the Turner exhibition and reflect the refined taste of Peggy Sewell and the exuberant spirit of her daughter Jacquelin.” An evening filled with luxury live and silent auctions, stylish décor, lively entertainment, and other rich and splendid offerings, The Art Ball: Land Over Sea is not to be missed!

The Art Ball Late Night Party—simply titled “C”— will feature Higher Power, an anthem-style dance band from Nashville. Join us for cocktails along with decadent savories and snacks. Starting at 9:30 p.m., this is the perfect event for late night revelers. Tickets are $100 each or $150 per couple.
